  1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND BENEFICIARIES

This offer is limited to selected Xiaomi smartphones (only applicable to the following specific models: Xiaomi 17T Series (hereinafter the “Product(s)”) purchased through any Xiaomi official sales channels (online or offline) and activated in the Territory of Philippines (hereinafter the “Territory”). This offer is provided by Xiaomi H.K. Limited having its registered office at Suite 3209, 32/F, Tower 5, The Gateway, Harbour City 15, Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. (hereinafter “Xiaomi” or “we”).

Only consumers that have purchased and activated the aforementioned Products are eligible to benefit from this offer (hereinafter “Beneficiaries” or “you”) at the conditions described below.   

  1. AFTERSALES SERVICES

This offer will include the following additional after-sale services:

i. 4 months of Spotify Premium (please refer to point 4.1)

ii. 3 months of Google AI Pro (please refer to point 4.2)

iii. 24-month quality assurance (please refer to 4.3)

iv. One free screen replacement within 6 months (please refer to point 4.4)

 

  1. PERIOD OF THE SERVICES

- The 24-month quality assurance: twenty-four (24) months from the date of first purchase of the Product by end user. The purchase date must be made between  28 May 2026 and 30 June 2026.

- One free screen replacement: within six (6) months from the date of first purchase. The purchase date must be made between 28 May 2026 and 29 May 2027.

 

  1. SERVICES DESCRIPTION

4.1 4-month free trial of Spotify Premium

This offer is valid for new Spotify Premium users and applies only to the Individual Plan.

This offer must be redeemed before September 25, 2026, 11:59 PM (local time).

· Sign up or sign in, then enter your smartphone’s IMEI/SN number and email address;

· Click “Submit”. You’ll receive a redemption email with a link and code;

· Open the link and sign up for or log in to Spotify;

· Enter a valid payment method. You will not be charged until the free trial period expires. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged;

· Redeem the offer and enjoy it.

4.2 3 months of Google AI Pro 

This offer is only available for ages 18 and above and must be redeemed before June 12, 2027, 11:59 PM (local time)

· Tap “Start trial.” A valid form of payment is required at sign-up, but you won’t be charged until the trial period expires. Cancel any time before the trial expires to avoid being charged.

4.3 24-month quality assurance

The Product shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during TWENTY-FOUR (24) months from the date the Beneficiaries purchased the Product (hereinafter, “Warranty Period”). The purchase date must be made between 28 May 2026 and 30 June 2026.

If a hardware defect is found and a valid claim is received by Xiaomi within the Warranty Period, Beneficiaries will be eligible to get the Product be repaired or be replaced for free in accordance with the “Warranty” found at https://www.mi.com/ph/support/warranty/.

In the event Beneficiaries opt to avail free warranty services provided by Xiaomi, Beneficiaries undertake the responsibility to fully “backed-up” and/or delete all their personal data before handling the Product to Xiaomi’s Authorized Service Center. Please note that in the process of availment of warranty services, the Product'scontent and software settings will be restored to factory default. All personal data, information and contents stored in the Product will automatically be disposed and removed.. Xiaomi shall not or in any manner,be liable for any loss of data, information or contents in the Product during the warranty services including any deletion, alteration and modification in the product’s data storage and/or media.

This 24-month warranty service will not apply to the following scenarios and Beneficiaries shall bear the full cost of repairs or materials (charges will be subject to the provisions of Xiaomi or Xiaomi Authorized Service Center):

- damage caused by transportation or loading and unloading during return or replacement or repair;

- damaged caused by accidental or man-made behaviors, such as liquid damage occurring outside IP68/IP69 conditions, falling, input unsuitable voltage, excessive extrusion, main board deformation, etc. and other phenomena are also included, for example, the power adapter is damaged, cracked, broken or deformed, and the power cable is damaged, broken or bare;

- damage caused by force majeure events such as war, fire, typhoon, flood or earthquake or similar events beyond the control of Xiaomi;

- damage caused by the use of non-original batter or battery leakage;

- Beneficiary does not or refused to provide, for whatever reason, the invoice of the purchase order/receipt or delivery bill or warranty card if it is required;

- serial number and/or the IMEI number is inconsistent, damaged or has been removed or tampered;

- the Product is a counterfeit and was not manufactured by Xiaomi.

- defect is caused by an unintended use or uses that are contrary to Xiaomi’s or the Xiaomi´s instructions, manuals or guidelines;

- defect arises from the Beneficiaries’ own or unauthorized repair/manipulation/alteration/modification, or the use of non-authorized or non-original spare parts, software, or components on the Product;

- operational problems and malfunctions caused by software installation and configuration or computer viruses;

- weak signal due to telecommunication operator’s service problem;

- the Warranty Period has expired.

4.4 One free screen replacement within 6 months

Beneficiaries who purchase the Product between  28 May 2026 and 29 May 2027.

 are eligible for a One-time (1) free screen replacement service during the first six(6) months after the date of first purchase of the Product by the end user, if the screen of the above mentioned Products is damaged or faulty by a non-intentional action by end users (i.e. like non-intentional falling of the Product).

If the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center, upon assessment shows that the screen should be replaced, such replacement of the screen shall be free of any charge.

In order to benefit from this offer, Beneficiaries must contact the Xiaomi Customer Support via https://www.mi.com/ph/support/Beneficiaries must provide the invoice of the purchase order/ receipt or the delivery bill.

4.4.1 Exclusions

This Service does not apply to or cover the following situations:  

a. The serial number and/or IMEI number of the Product is damaged or has been removed or tampered with;

b. The Product is a counterfeit and was not manufactured by Xiaomi;

c. Damages to the screen are caused intentionally or deliberately or with gross negligence;

d. Damages affect only the surface of the screen, such as scratches or other aesthetic appearance of the screen;

e. Damages are incurred by malware, unauthorized software or third-party apps used by the end users;

f. The Beneficiary does not or refused to provide, for whatever reason, the invoice of the purchase order/receipt or delivery bill if it is required;

g. The defect is caused by a non-intended purpose,, use or contrary to Xiaomi’s or the seller´s instructions, manuals or guidelines;

h. The defect arises from the Beneficiary’s own or unauthorized repair/manipulation, or the use of non-authorized or non-original spare parts, software, or components.

This service is not also applicable to Products that, due to the damages or alteration of the screen, have to be replaced with a new Product. Such replacement will be subject to the legal warranty standards.

Nothing in this offer shall limit Beneficiaries’ rights under the applicable law.

  1. MISCELLANEOUS

5.1. Data Privacy: Xiaomi attaches great importance to our users’ privacy and is committed to ensuring the security of your personal information. Xiaomi strictly complies with all applicable laws and privacy policies for processing your personal information necessary to provide after-sales services (including maintenance and repair and to you.

For the purpose of providing you the Services under this agreement, we will collect, store and use your strictly necessary contact information (name, phone number, email address, ID number) and the device information. Please note that we may also share this information with any of our Authorized Service Centers, or necessary.

5.2. This offer is only applicable to the Products described above on clause 1. Other Xiaomi smartphones or products will not be eligible for this offer.

5.3. The Beneficiaries acknowledges that the general terms and conditions described on https://www.mi.com/ph/support/warranty/ remain applicable. In the event of a contradiction between these Terms and Conditions and the general terms and conditions described on the webpage (https://www.mi.com.ph/), these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. These terms and conditions are subject to the Philippines Law.
