Xiaomi 17T - Premium SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This offer is in addition to the consumer rights granted by the statutory guarantee, according to the terms and conditions published on: https://www.mi.com/my/support/warranty/.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND BENEFICIARIES
This offer is limited to selected Xiaomi smartphones (only applicable to the following specific models: Xiaomi 17T (hereinafter the “Product(s)”) purchased through any Xiaomi official sales channels (online or offline) and activated in the Territory of Malaysia (hereinafter the “Territory”). This offer is provided by Xiaomi Malaysia Sdn Bhd [202101002126 (1402424-W) (hereinafter “Xiaomi” or “we”).
Only consumers that have purchased and activated the aforementioned Products are eligible to benefit from this offer (hereinafter “Beneficiaries” or “you”) at the conditions described below.
AFTERSALES SERVICES
This offer will include the following additional after-sale services:
24-month quality assurance (please refer to 4.1);
One free screen replacement within 180 days (please refer to point 4.2);
4-month trial of Spotify Premium at no cost (please refer to clause 4.3);
3-month trial of Google AI Pro at no cost (please refer to clause 4.4);
3-month trial of YouTube Premium at no cost (please refer to clause 4.5);
PERIOD OF THE SERVICES
24-month quality assurance: twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase of the Product by end user.
One free screen replacement: one hundred and eighty (180) days from the date of first purchase of the Product by end user.
Spotify Premium 4 months access. To enjoy this service, beneficiaries need to purchase and activate the product before 31st August, 2026. The offer expires and must be redeemed by 31st August, 2026.
3 month of Google AI Pro. To enjoy this service, beneficiaries need to purchase and activate the product before 12th June, 2027. The offer expires and must be redeemed by 12th June, 2027.
YouTube Premium 3 months access. To enjoy this service, beneficiaries need to purchase and activate the product before 8th August, 2026. The offer expires and must be redeemed by 8th August, 2026.
SERVICES DESCRIPTION
24-month quality assurance
The Product shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during TWENTY FOUR (24) months from the date Beneficiaries purchased the Product (hereinafter, “Warranty Period”).
If a hardware defect is found and a valid claim is received by Xiaomi within the Warranty Period, Beneficiaries will be eligible to get the Product be repaired or be replaced for free in according to “Warranty” https://www.mi.com/my/support/warranty/.
In the event Beneficiaries enjoy any free warranty services, Beneficiaries are advised to fully “backed-up” and/or delete all personal data before handling the Product to Xiaomi Authorized Service Center. Please note that in the process of any warranty services, the Product content and software settings will be restored to factory settings and all personal data and settings in the Product will not be restored. Xiaomi shall not be liable if the contents in the Product’s data storage media were altered, deleted, or in any way modified during any warranty services.
This 24-month warranty service will not apply to the following scenarios and Beneficiaries shall bear the full cost of repairs or materials (charges will be subject to the provisions of Xiaomi or Xiaomi Authorized Service Center):
damage caused by transportation or loading and unloading during return or replacement or repair;
damaged caused by accidental or man-made behaviors, such as liquid damage occurring outside IP68/IP69 conditions, falling, input unsuitable voltage, excessive extrusion, main board deformation, etc. and other phenomena are also included, for example, the power adapter is damaged, cracked, broken or deformed, and the power cable is damaged, broken or bare;
damage caused by force majeure events such as war, fire, typhoon, flood or earthquake or similar events beyond the control of Xiaomi;
damage caused by the use of non-original batter or battery leakage;
Beneficiary does not provide the invoice of the purchase or delivery bill or warranty card if it is required;
serial number and/or the IMEI number is inconsistent, damaged or has been removed or tampered;
the Product is a counterfeit and was not manufactured by Xiaomi.
defect is caused by an unintended use or uses that are contrary to Xiaomi’s or the Xiaomi´s instructions, manuals or guidelines;
defect arises from the Beneficiaries’ own or unauthorized repair/manipulation/alteration/modification, or the use of non-authorized or non-original spare parts, software, or components on the Product;
operational problems and malfunctions caused by software installation and configuration or computer viruses;
weak signal due to telecommunication operator’s service problem;
the Warranty Period has expired.
One free screen replacement within 180 days
Beneficiaries who purchase the Product are eligible for a One-time (1) free screen replacement service within one hundred and eighty (180) days after the date of first purchase of the Product by the end user, if the screen of the above mentioned Products is damaged or faulty by a non-intentional action by end users (i.e. like non-intentional falling of the Product).
If the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center assesses the screen should be replaced, such replacement of the screen shall be free of any charge.
Beneficiaries might be requested to provide the invoice of the purchase or the delivery bill.
Exclusions
This Service does not apply to or cover the following situations:
The serial number and/or IMEI number of the Product is damaged or has been removed or tampered with;
The Product is a counterfeit and was not manufactured by Xiaomi;
Damages to the screen are caused intentionally or with gross negligence;
Damages affect only the surface of the screen, such as scratches or other aesthetic appearance of the screen;
Damages are incurred by malware, unauthorized software or third-party apps used by the end users;
The Beneficiary does not provide the invoice of the purchase or delivery bill if it is required;
The defect is caused by a non-intended purposes use or contrary to Xiaomi’s or the seller´s instructions, manuals or guidelines;
The defect arises from the Beneficiary’s own or unauthorized repair/manipulation, or the use of non-authorized or non-original spare parts, software, or components.
This service is not also applicable to Products that, due to the damages or alteration of the screen, have to be replaced with a new Product. Such replacement will be subject to the legal warranty standards.
Nothing in this offer shall limit Beneficiaries’ rights under the applicable law.
4-month trial of Spotify Premium at no cost
Offer is valid for new Spotify Premium users only. Offer applies to Spotify Premium Individual except for Indonesia, India, and the United Arab Emirates, wherein the offer applies to Spotify Premium Standard. Redeem by 31st August, 2026, 11:59 PM local time. Free trial, then monthly fee applies unless canceled (price varies by region). T&Cs apply. Please ensure that your Mi Store app is updated to version V4.33.0 or later before redeeming the offer. The redemption process described below will not function properly on earlier versions.

3-month trial of Google AI Pro at no cost
Gemini is a trademark of Google LLC. Terms apply. Only available for ages 18+. Unless canceled earlier, Google One will charge a monthly fee after the trial ends (price varies by region). Cancel anytime. Return of purchased device may result in cancellation of subscription.
How to Redeem:
- Open the Gemini app or Google One app
- Click “Try now” on the pop-up that says “Try Google AI Pro at no extra cost”. If you don’t see the pop-up, tap the profile icon in the right hand corner and select “Try Google AI Pro” from the menu
- Tap “Start trial.” A valid form of payment is required at sign-up, but you won’t be charged until the trial period expires. Cancel anytime before the trial expires to avoid being charged.

How to Redeem:
- Open your YouTube app and tap the profile icon in the right corner.
- Tap “Get YouTube Premium.” You will need to sign in if you aren’t already signed in.
- Click “Get YouTube Premium" to access the offer.
- If you don’t have a payment method on file, you will be asked to add one. Otherwise, your existing method will be used. This screen displays your trial end date.

Redemption Deadline:

Participant Requirements:
Participants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Not be a current YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium subscriber.
- Not have previously subscribed to YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Red, or Google Play Music.
- Not have participated in a trial of the above services.
- Have a Google account.

MISCELLANEOUS
Data Privacy: Xiaomi attaches great importance to our Users' privacy and is committed to ensuring the security of your personal information. Xiaomi strictly complies with all applicable laws and privacy policies for processing your personal information necessary to provide after-sales services (including maintenance, repair and/or spare phone lending services) to you.
For the purpose of providing you the Services under this agreement, Xiaomi will act as the data controller and we will collect, store and use your strictly necessary contact information (name, phone number, email address, ID number) and the device information. Please note that we may share also this information with any of our Authorized Service Centers, if necessary.

Please be sure to delete all your files, log out your Xiaomi account and disable your security password when returning the spare phone, including but not limited to your personal and/or confidential documents and data. The User is responsible for: (a) erasing all data (including personal and/or confidential files and data from the User); and (b) making back-up copies of all data you wish to retain, before returning the spare phone to the Authorized Service Center. Xiaomi assumes no responsibility for any data loss and privacy issues caused by your personal documents or data remaining on or not being deleted from the spare phone when you return it back.
The maintenance of some components may be required for replacement of spare parts. Therefore, the repaired products or parts may not be the original ones.
This offer is only applicable to the Products described above on clause 1. Other Xiaomi smartphones or products will not be eligible for this offer.
The Beneficiaries acknowledges that the general terms and conditions described on https://www.mi.com/my/support/warranty/ remain applicable. In the event of a contradiction between these Terms and Conditions and the general terms and conditions described on the relevant www.mi.com page, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. These terms and conditions are subject to Malaysia Law.
