1. Scope
This warranty policy sets out your specific rights in relation to Xiaomi products purchased from official Xiaomi offline stores in Malaysia ("Xiaomi Store"), without prejudice to any other rights you may be entitled to under applicable Malaysian law. The current version of warranty policy is updated on 25th November 2025.
2. Standard Return Policy
You may return your Xiaomi product(s) purchased from a Xiaomi Store for a refund or replacement in accordance with the provisions set out below. You are required to provide or present valid proof of purchase when requesting the relevant service.
Only for Xiaomi product (s) with manufacturing defects: You can refund or replacement within seven (7) calendar days for Phone, Pad, AIOT and TV and within fifteen (15) calendar days for Air-Conditioning, Fridge and Washing Machine from the delivery date or the invoice, whichever is later.
Note: At Xiaomi’s sole discretion, if the Product(s) are unavailable or no longer in stock for replacement or refund, Xiaomi shall provide a refund in accordance with the terms of our return policy.
3. How to Return Product to Xiaomi
The product refund process is as follows. Please ensure that you back up all data and remove any personal information from the product prior to returning it. Xiaomi will NOT be responsible for any loss of data.
1. Methods of Return/Contacting Xiaomi:
a. Xiaomi Store Receive Device: If the Xiaomi Store is equipped with in-store service and testing capabilities, it will conduct the service test on the product/device at the store. Should the product/device meet the applicable return conditions, the after-sales team will issue an inspection work order, and the sales team will facilitate the refund (please consult the on-site sales staff for the specific refund procedures). If the Xiaomi Store is not equipped with in-store service and testing capabilities and is only equipped with collection point service capabilities, the product/device will be collected and forwarded to a designated Xiaomi Authorized Service Center for testing. If the product meets the return conditions, the after-sales team will issue an inspection work order. You must then contact the sales team to process the refund (please consult the on-site sales staff for the specific refund procedures).

c. Contact a Xiaomi Authorized Service Center:You may contact a local Xiaomi Authorized Service Center for on-site support. The service center will conduct testing of the product. If the product meets the applicable return conditions, the service center will issue an inspection work order. Thereafter, please contact the Xiaomi Store where the product was purchased to process the refund (please consult the on-site sales staff for the specific refund procedures).
2. Additional Return Information:
Bundled Products
a. A bundle consists of two or more items that can be purchased together at a discounted price.
b. Items sold as part of a bundle cannot be returned individually for refund.
Promotional Items and Gifts
a. Xiaomi may provide free promotional items with a product. Xiaomi requires that promotional items be returned together with the corresponding main product.
4. Not Eligible for Return and/or Replacement
1. Product Exceeds Return Period
If the product is beyond the eligible return period, a refund cannot be processed. However, the product may still be covered under Xiaomi’s warranty. To verify the applicable warranty coverage and available options, please refer to the terms set out in this warranty policy or contact Xiaomi Customer Service or a Xiaomi Authorized Service Center.
2. Product Not Eligible for Refund or Replacement
It is not possible to return your product to Xiaomi if there is an occurrence of any of the following:
a. Product(s) were not purchased from the Xiaomi Store.
b. Product(s) with lost, damaged, modified, or illegible IMEI or serial number labels, manufacturer's model, and/or warranty labels in part or in whole.
c. Product(s) that is returned without all original packaging, initial items and its attachment including but not limited to the product box, user manuals, cables, and all other items originally included in the product box. Product return requests received in incomplete condition will be rejected.
d. Product(s) that show physical damage due to improper use (e.g. dropping, pressure, exposure to liquids, etc.). The exception in this condition is if you receive the product(s) in a defective, damaged, or incorrect condition since the beginning of the purchase. In this condition, you may contact the Customer Service Center for further guidance. This condition is not included in the category of Product Return application.
e. Product(s) that exhibits physical damage and malfunctions due to unavoidable disasters (e.g. floods, fires, earthquakes, lightning, and traffic accidents).
f. Product(s) that show damage due to you not using and maintaining the product(s) in accordance with the instructions for use, including but not limited to use at extreme temperatures, use of unauthorized accessories, etc.
g. Product(s) which appears tampered, customized, or altered in any way.
h. Any consumable product that already opened, such as but not limited to hair clipper, toothbrush, shaver.
i. Product(s) that have malfunctioned due to accessories (scratch resistance, protective casing, etc.). Products in this condition cannot be used as a reason for returning the product to get a replacement unit.
j. Product(s) that Xiaomi has sold as part of a bundle offers campaign, unless all product(s) in the bundle offers campaign are properly returned in accordance with the requirement under this Return Policy.

The after-sales services provided by Xiaomi are subject to the following disclaimers:
Data Security: During the service process, you are responsible for backing up and removing all personal data, software, and confidential information in advance before handling the device to Xiaomi. Xiaomi shall not be held liable for any form of data loss, leakage, or damage. Submitting the product for repair shall be deemed as confirmation that you have completed the necessary data backup.
Service Content Changes: Without prejudice to Malaysian law, Xiaomi reserves the right to adjust service hours and specific procedures at service outlets based on actual circumstances, and retains the final right of interpretation.
Amendment of Policy: Xiaomi reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without notice. You are encouraged to check from time to time to view any amendments and/or changes made to this policy.
