I. Xiaomi Trade-in Program
Trade-in Program The Xiaomi trade-in program, run by Xiaomi Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd ("Xiaomi") and its trade-in partner, CompAsia Sdn. Bhd. ("CompAsia"), lets customers trade in their old devices for an instant discount on new purchases at participating Xiaomi Authorised Stores. From time to time, additional trade-in bonus may also be offered in these stores. Promotional Campaign terms & conditions apply.
Who can participate in Xiaomi Trade-in Program? Xiaomi Trade-in Program is open to all Malaysian Citizens, and residents of 18 years old and above, having full legal capacity according to the laws of Malaysia.
Accepted Trade-in Device We accept most of the models of devices which are launched after year 2017 and this is also inclusive of brands outside of Xiaomi. However, you can visit any of our Xiaomi Authorised Store to check whether your device model is eligible for trade in, or contact us at 1800-18-0112 (Monday - Friday 9:00 - 18:00) or drop us an email at service.my@support.mi.com.
Participating retail stores Xiaomi Trade-in Program is available in participating Xiaomi Authorized Stores only.
How many trade-in devices can I combine in a single purchase receipt?
Only one (1) trade-in device is allowed to knock off 1 purchase receipt. In the event that the trade-in value of the device(s) exceeds the cost of the device purchased, the excess amount is not exchangeable for cash.
Do I need to provide accessories such as charger/data cable/screen protector/protective case ? Not required. In fact, it is compulsory to remove your screen protector and casing before trade-in order is placed.
Can I cancel my trade-in order? Before you complete the trade-in order at our store, you may cancel the order at any time. However, after you have completed the payment, the order can no longer be cancelled.
What are the key factors to Trade-in Value? The value of your old devices varies depending on the device manufacture made and model, capacity, launched year, functionality and cosmetical condition of the device.
How do I check my device's trade-in value?
You can bring your device to any of our Xiaomi Authorised Store to get a quotation/or assist by our crew to obtain an accurate Trade-in Value. Please note that the value obtained shall only be valid for 7 days.
III. Trade-in Bonus
What is trade-in bonus? Our trade-in bonus is an additional cash voucher rebate which can be used on your new purchase instantly in our store if you trade-in your old device to knock off the new purchase order. This trade-in bonus may or may not be available under our Xiaomi Trade-in Program, and its offer may vary from time to time. Please check out our announcement posts published via our social media accounts or visit our Stores from time-to-time for the latest updates.

IV. Recycle & Data
How to remove my screen lock/personal account information from an old device? Please remove all your personal accounts and security locks (e.g. PIN/ password/Biometrics/Find My Phone /Gmail /Mi ID/iCloud/Android or Google Smart Lock, etc.) from the device before you submit your old devices to us. In order to transfer data from one device to another, you may use our mobile app "Mi Mover" to transfer data from the old device to a new device. After backing up your personal data, we recommend that you reset your old device to the original factory settings, to ensure that your personal data and information are erased from your old device. Please also note that Xiaomi shall not be responsible for any loss of personal data or your personal accounts and security locks after you have trade-in your old devices to us so, please back up your data before handing over your old devices to us.

By providing any of your personal data for the purposes of this Trade-in Program, you indicate that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by our Privacy Policy stated at https://www.mi.com/my/about/privacy. You agree to and provide consent to Xiaomi to the use of any personal data as provided by you for the purpose of participation in this Trade-in Program in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by Xiaomi for lawful purpose directly related to the running of this Trade-in Program.
