If the mop pad of the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max has an odor, please refer to the following reasons:
1. If the mop pad is left wet or stored in a poorly ventilated environment after use, moisture can lead to bacterial growth, which can cause abnormal odors. After each use, remove the mop pad, wash it thoroughly, and place it in a well-ventilated area to air-dry completely.
2. Dust, grease, and other residues from the floor can build up on the mop pad over time. If not fully removed during washing, these residues can cause a lingering smell. When cleaning the mop pad, you can select hot water to help remove dirt and residue more effectively.
Note:
The robot vacuum's station heats the water for this function. Please do not fill it with hot water.
3. Mop pads are consumable accessories. After long-term use, fibers will retain dirt and bacteria more easily, which can lead to persistent odors.
