If the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum fails to connect to the network, please refer to the following methods:
1. Please check and ensure that the Wi-Fi password you entered is correct. The password length should not exceed 30 bytes. In addition, the Wi-Fi name should not contain Chinese or special symbols such as @, ¥, or %. If it does, please reset the Wi-Fi name and password to use only English letters or numbers, then try connecting again.
2. Please check whether the external network connection of the router is working properly. Try opening a web page on a phone or computer connected to the same Wi-Fi to see if the internet is accessible.
3. Check if the distance between the router and the robot vacuum is too far (more than 5 meters or if there is a wall in between). Try moving the robot vacuum to within 1-2 meters of the router and then try reconnecting.
4. Try connecting to your phone's Wi-Fi hotspot.
5. Check if too many smart devices are connected to the router, causing slow network speeds or router unresponsiveness. Try restarting the router.
6. Currently, the device does not support 5GHz or public Wi-Fi networks requiring web authentication. Please switch networks and try connecting again.
7. If the network connection is lost, the Wi-Fi indicator will start flashing.
8. Check if your phone is restricting the app's permissions, such as allowing Bluetooth, network access, location services, etc. Please grant these permissions and try again.
9. Connection failure may also be related to the phone model. Please try connecting with a different phone model.
10. If you still cannot connect to the network, try resetting the host and then reconnecting.
If the issue persists, please provide feedback to us in the Xiaomi Home App.
