Why does the MLO function not activate on some end devices after connecting to a Wi-Fi 7-supported Xiaomi Router?

To resolve this issue, please refer to the following information:
1. Enable the MLO function on your Xiaomi Router. You can go to the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP >> select your router >> enter [Wi-Fi settings] and find the MLO feature to enable it. Additionally, you can go to the router’s web interface >> [Settings] >> [Wi-Fi settings] >> enable the MLO function. After the router enables the MLO function, end devices that support Wi-Fi 7 MLO can connect to the router's Wi-Fi and benefit from MLO acceleration;
2. For common Wi-Fi 7 devices (using the Xiaomi 14 as an example), after connecting to the router, the Wi-Fi icon on the phone will display a "7+" symbol. If the "+" is not shown, it means the acceleration was not successful and only indicates a connection to a Wi-Fi 7 network;
3. If some devices do not show the MLO acceleration effect after connecting to the router's Wi-Fi, you can enable the network acceleration feature on the device. Using the Xiaomi 14 as an example, go to [Settings] >> [Wi-Fi] >> [Network acceleration] >> [Dual band Wi-Fi speed boost] >> enable [Dual band Wi-Fi speed boost] and connect the available auxiliary network;
4. If you have other Wi-Fi 7 routers or Wi-Fi 7 devices, try cross-connecting them to determine whether the issue is with the router or the end device (such as a smartphone). If the issue is with the end device, try reconnecting to Wi-Fi or restarting the device. If the issue is with the router, try restarting or resetting the router;
5. If the above solutions do not resolve your issue, please upload the logs on the router's web interface, including the following information: model and version of the end device (provide a screenshot of the Wi-Fi icon on the end device, such as a smartphone, showing it does not display the Wi-Fi 7+ symbol during the connection process), MAC address of the end device (can be found in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP), router information (model, version, and SN). If your end device is a Xiaomi smartphone, please also provide the model and system version of the phone, along with other relevant information.
Note:
The MLO function can only be enabled when the router is in dual-band or multi-band combination mode.
