If your Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro fails to connect to the network, it can be due to various reasons related to router settings or connection issues. This can prevent the Wi-Fi range extender from establishing a stable link to the Wi-Fi network.
To resolve this issue, please refer to the following solutions:
1. Determine whether the Wi-Fi range extender is connected to a third-party router or a Xiaomi router;
2. For third-party router connection:
(1). Try placing the phone close to the Wi-Fi range extender;
(2). Disable the router's wireless access control (blacklist/whitelist), and restart the router to try again;
(3). If there's no Xiaomi router, try connecting to a mobile hotspot. If successful, contact the router's customer support to change the channel and encryption settings;
(4). If the mobile hotspot connection fails, please contact the local after-sales service center for further assistance;
3. For Xiaomi router connection:
(1). Upgrade the Xiaomi router to the latest version;
(2). Disable the router's wireless access control (blacklist/whitelist) and restart the router to try again;
(3). Try connecting to a mobile hotspot. If successful, the Wi-Fi range extender is fine. Please check the router settings;
(4). Change the router’s channel and encryption settings;
(5). If it still cannot connect, please send feedback for further assistance.
