Two situations appear in the camera's access record:
1. Access record shows an unfamiliar Xiaomi account;
2. The Xiaomi account is correct, but the phone model or access location is not yours.
If any of the above situations occur, please follow these steps for troubleshooting:
1. First, check if the device or family has shared access records. If it has, verify if the person who accessed it is someone you've shared the device or family with. If so, please remove the shared access;
2. If you confirm that no sharing has occurred, check if the access record shows the same account logged in on multiple devices. In this case, please change your Xiaomi account password and observe whether the issue persists;
3. If the access record shows your Xiaomi account but the location is unusual, it indicates that the phone could have passed through or connected to a local base station, causing a location error. (Location is determined by the phone's connection to the carrier's IP address.) Please recall if you accessed the camera during that time or if a family member did.
The Xiaomi Smart Camera and Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP use multiple layers of security encryption, so there is no risk of the device being hacked. Please use the device with confidence.
