No, the Xiaomi Multifunctional Hot Pot Cooker 6L is designed with boiling dry detection to ensure safety during use. If the pot is removed while cooking is in progress, the cooking process will be automatically paused. Once the pot is placed back, the hot pot cooker will return to its previous state, allowing cooking to resume. In the event of a water shortage, the hot pot cooker will display E3 and stop operating. This ensures the device doesn’t overheat or get damaged due to dry boiling.
