Find My Device is a security feature that helps you locate, lock, or erase your lost Android phone, tablet, or smartwatch. It works through Google's services and requires an active internet connection.
To use Find My Device, please follow the steps:
1. Go to [Settings] on your phone;
2. Swipe down to find and select [Google];
3. Tap [Find My Device];
4. Turn on [Use Find My Device].
5. Visit the Find My Device webpage or download the Find My Device APP from the Google Play Store;
6. Sign in with the Google account associated with your device;
7. A list of all your registered devices will appear for the one you want to locate.
Note:
1. When you open Find My device on web, after logging into your Google account, you will not be redirected directly to the device list page;
2. If the device is online and has enough power, you can see its approximate location on a map, as well as information such as whether it is online and its battery level. At this point, you can choose to play a sound (even if the device is muted), lock the device, or wipe data;
3. If your phone is offline, Find My Device will show the last known location when it was online.
