How to correct the image distortion of the Xiaomi Outdoor Camera AW300?
The Xiaomi Outdoor Camera AW300 features the Image distortion correction function, which will avoid distortion automatically by reducing the image size. This feature is turned off by default.
To enable the Image distortion correction function of your camera, please refer to the following steps:
1. Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP;
2. Select the camera;
3. Tap the three dots icon in the upper right corner;
4. Tap [Camera settings];
5. Select [Image settings];
6. Turn on [Image distortion correction].
Note:
1. Positioning plays a significant role in how the image is captured. Ensure the camera is not angled too steeply. Try to install the camera at eye level or slightly tilted, and avoid placing it too close to walls or objects that will cause optical distortion;
2. Obstructions like trees, branches, or even dirt on the lens can distort the image. Ensure the lens is clean and free from debris, and that there are no objects blocking the camera's view.
