What to do if the Privacy protection password has been forgotten on the Redmi Pad Pro 5G?
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G supports configuring Privacy protection password, which protects sensitive information stored on the device. Besides, it can help maintain privacy by preventing others from viewing notes, photos, and other personal content.
If you've forgotten the Privacy protection password on your tablet, please refer to the following steps:
1. Go to the [Settings] APP on your tablet;
2. Select [Face data & screen lock];
3. Choose [Privacy protection password];
4. Tap [Forgot pattern] in the password input interface;
5. Enter the password of the Xiaomi Account;
6. You can change the new password pattern.
Note:
If you've added a Xiaomi Account, you can change to a new Privacy protection password by entering the Xiaomi Account password. If you haven't added a Xiaomi Account, the only option is to perform a factory reset to set a new one.
