Why does the ANC mode switch automatically when only wearing the left earbud of the Redmi Buds 6?

When wearing only the left earbud, manually switch ANC to the mild noise cancellation mode in the settings. After that, wear both earbuds, then remove the right earbud. The ANC mode will automatically switch to deep noise cancellation, even though it was set to mild.
