How to use the Ear tip fit test function on the Redmi Buds 6?
This feature plays a sound through the earbuds, and sensors detect whether the current ear tips provide a proper fit based on sound leakage. Adjusting the ear tips or trying different sizes can improve fit, comfort, and audio performance.
1. Function location:
(1). MIUI: Go to [Settings] >> [Bluetooth] >> Redmi Buds 6 >> [Additional settings] >> [Ear tip fit test];
(2). APP: Open the Xiaomi Earbuds APP >> [Additional settings] >> [Ear tip fit test].
2. Operation steps:
Wear both earbuds >> tap [Start] >> wait for 6-8 seconds (detection duration) >> check results (Good fit/Readjust earbud).
Note:
1. If you remove the earbuds or interrupt the detection process midway, it will trigger a reminder saying "Please adjust earbud position";
2. Frequently switching between maximum and minimum volume during the fit test process can lead to occasional detection failures. The latest version of the earbuds has fixed this issue, so please upgrade to the latest version for the best experience.
