Why does the In-ear detection feature on the Redmi Buds 6 sometimes not work?
This could be due to several reasons:
1. If the earbuds are removed for more than 2 minutes during music playback, they will not resume playback when worn again. This is by design;
2. If music playback is paused using the touch control area while wearing the earbuds, they will not resume playback when worn again after being removed. This is also by design.
You can try the following methods to restore functionality:
1. Place the earbuds in the charging case, close the lid, wait for 5 seconds, then open the case and reconnect before wearing them again;
2. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, try restoring factory settings. Place both earbuds in the charging case and open the lid, then press and hold the function button for 10 seconds until the indicator flashes continuously, indicating that the factory reset is complete.
