What to do if the Redmi Buds 6 does not have the Google Fast Pair feature?
The Google Fast Pair feature is supported on certain models.
Please follow these steps to address the issue:
1. Check if your device supports the feature and ensure that the system version is up to date;
2. Check if Pair compatible devices are enabled. Go to [Settings] >> [Bluetooth] >> [Additional settings] >> enable [Pair compatible devices]. If this switch is off, the Google Fast Pair cannot be used. Once enabled, opening the charging case will trigger the pop-up;
3. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please pay attention to recent firmware updates.
Note:
1. During the first use, the phone needs to download the animated data. It is recommended to connect the phone to Wi-Fi (not a mobile hotspot to avoid excessive mobile data usage) to download the earbud animations. After this initial download, the same earbuds can be used without connecting to the network for normal pop-ups;
2. Keep the earbud case and phone within 30cm and slowly open and close the lid 3-5 times (avoid doing it quickly). The initial pop-up could show a default image, but the animation will appear once the network download is complete (the duration depends on internet speed).
