Can the Redmi Buds 6 be connected to two phones at the same time?
The Redmi Buds 6 supports a Dual connection feature, which is off by default. To enable it through the Xiaomi Earbuds APP.
1. Go to Xiaomi Earbuds APP >> Redmi Buds 6 >> [Additional settings] >> enable/disable [Dual connection];
2. Pairing the earbuds with a phone
(1). Open the earbud case lid and press the function button for 2 seconds until the indicator blinks, putting the earbuds into pairing mode;
(2). Turn on Bluetooth on the device you want to pair with and select the earbuds from the Bluetooth setting to connect.
Note:
On the first opening of the case lid, the earbuds automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
3. The steps of dual connection are as follows:
(1). Connect the earbuds to phone A. Go to [Additional settings] and enable [Dual connection], then disconnect the earbuds;
(2). Connect the earbuds to phone B. Go to [Additional settings] and enable [Dual connection], keeping the earbuds connected;
(3). Finally, on phone A, select the earbuds in the Bluetooth list to complete the dual-device connection.
Note:
Dual connection and automatic connection cannot be enabled simultaneously. If you want to enable dual connection, please ensure automatic connection is turned off first.
