When multiple routers or Bluetooth devices are being used around the Bluetooth earbuds, there will be varying levels of interference, which could cause lagging, intermittent audio, or disconnection.
The possible reasons for disconnection are as follows:
1. Low or no battery in the earbuds;
2. The phone is too far from the earbuds, exceeding the effective transmission range (around 10 meters), or there are obstacles between the earbuds and the phone;
3. Due to the nature of Bluetooth earbuds, electromagnetic waves in the area could interfere with the connection.
To resolve the above issues, please refer to the following methods:
1. Charge the earbuds to ensure sufficient battery level;
2. Keep the earbuds and phone close together, within the effective transmission range (approximately 10 meters), and reconnect;
3. Check for strong interference around your earbuds, and try to keep them away from devices with strong electromagnetic interference, such as microwaves or surveillance monitors. If there is significant interference, it’s recommended to try connecting in an open or normal indoor space;
4. If the issue persists, place the earbuds back in the charging case, close the lid for 15 seconds, then reopen the case to reconnect;
5. If the problem continues, try resetting the earbuds: place both earbuds in the charging case, open the lid, and hold the function button for 10 seconds. When the indicator flashes continuously, the reset is complete. After resetting, please re-pair the earbuds;
6. The latest version has optimizations. Make sure to update the firmware to the latest version in the Xiaomi Earbuds APP for an improved experience.
