The POCO C40 doesn’t support OTG.
OTG stands for USB On-The-Go. It's a feature that allows a device (smartphone or tablet) to act as a host and connect to other USB devices through a USB OTG cable or adapter. Some smartphones do not support OTG for a variety of technical and market-driven reasons.
For your reference, here are some key factors:
1. OTG requires the device to have USB host functionality, which allows it to recognize and communicate with other USB devices. Some smartphones lack this capability;
2. OTG functionality requires support at the operating system level. If the smartphone's OS does not support OTG, the feature will not be available, even if the hardware does;
3. To reduce potential security risks or to streamline the device's features, OTG functionality can be disabled in the firmware.
