1. Check whether the Xiaomi Home Secure is expired. After the expiration, the videos will not be uploaded to the cloud;
2. Check whether the home surveillance or SD card has recorded videos;
3. Check whether the icon of uploading videos in the Xiaomi Home Secure is turned off;
4. Determine when did the problem happen and whether the problem persists;
5. Check whether the router has blocklist or forbidden link. You can try to use the link or delete the setting of blocklist and try again;
6. Restart the device after powering off and reset the router (Do not reset the optical modem. Resetting and configuring the optical modem is complicated, causing the home network to become paralyzed and unusable.);
7. Check whether the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP and the device firmware need to be updated;
8. You can use your phone as hotspot to connect to the camera and check the network issue. If the hotspot can be used, the home network has abnormalities and please contact the carrier.
You can also refer to the following details to check the abnormalities of the Xiaomi Home Secure:
1. If the camera is connected to the network that needs secondary verification, the videos will not be uploaded to the cloud;
2. If the camera is in sleep mode or the status of powering off or disconnecting, the videos will not be recorded;
3. If the Xiaomi Account or the camera is shared with others, the videos will be deleted mistakenly;
4. Check whether the privacy policy is withdrawn;
5. If you subscribe the Xiaomi Home Secure, the videos will be deleted automatically in a cycle of 7 days. For instance, if you subscribe the Xiaomi Home Secure on Monday, the videos of Monday will be deleted on the next Monday and the videos from Tuesday to the next Monday will be stored.
