The VOC value display on the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier remains consistently too low/high or shows little variation

To ensure proper functioning and accurate readings from your VOC sensor, please consider the following points:
1. If the VOC values on the air purifier consistently show very low readings, you can place a fruit near the VOC sensor to observe the change. After about 3 minutes, if the VOC curve shows a noticeable increase, and then slowly returns to the original state after removing the fruit, it indicates that the VOC sensor is functioning properly;
2. The VOC sensor detects volatile organic compounds (VOCs), such as formaldehyde, ammonia, ethylene glycol, esters, and others. Therefore, if the environment has recently been renovated, has new furniture, or contains a large amount of fruit or other odor-emitting but harmless items, the sensor can detect these and show high values;
3. Due to the high sensitivity of the VOC sensor, random fluctuations in environmental airflow can cause variations in the displayed values. If changes occur at fixed times, check if there are other periodic factors in the environment causing VOC changes. Factors such as fruits, perfumes, and other organic substances can all cause changes in the display curve;
4. The VOC sensor reads values every 2 seconds, and the VOC curve refreshes every 2.5 minutes. If there are sudden data changes within 2.5 minutes, the sensor will immediately display the value changes. Once the data is refreshed on the curve interface at 2.5 minutes, the current data will replace the sudden changes, while other data points remain unchanged.
