Why is the Xiaomi Air Purifier noisy while operating?
If your air purifier is noisy while operating, please refer to the following troubleshooting methods:
1. The noise from the air purifier mainly comes from the bottom turbine fan. The strong airflow generated by the turbine fan naturally produces wind noise. Our unique and highly efficient air purification system is designed with a well-sealed air duct. As a result, the very quiet internal noise can be slightly amplified by this sealed duct. However, the goal is to achieve rapid air purification, which lasts only 15 minutes. After this period, the fan speed is reduced to decrease noise while still quickly purifying the air in your home. Under normal operation, the device is very quiet. Additionally, to ensure continuous purification even at the lowest settings, the air purifier does not intentionally lower the motor speed. Therefore, even in sleep mode, a very slight wind noise is present but does not affect the purification performance;

3. If the noise issue persists, you can contact the local after-sales service center for further assistance and inspect the unit to determine if a new top fan knob needs to be installed.
