What to do if the Redmi Watch 5 Lite cannot receive messages?

When the APP maintains a Bluetooth connection with your watch, it will push the notification generated by the mobile phone notification shade to your watch to remind you that the phone has received a new message. When the notification message is not displayed in the mobile phone notification shade, even if the mobile phone's application receives a new message, the mobile phone will not push the notification to your watch.
If you do not receive the notifications, please check whether it is due to the following reasons:
1. Please make sure that in the mobile phone, the new message reminder is turned on, and ensure that the message content can be successfully displayed in the mobile phone’s notification shade; 
2. The message notification switch is not turned on in the APP. Please tap [App notifications] in the APP and enable this feature; 
3. The Do Not Disturb mode is turned on on the watch, and within the period of the Do Not Disturb mode, the watch will not vibrate after receiving new messages. Turn off the Do Not Disturb mode on the watch, or modify the time period when the Do Not Disturb mode is effective;
4. For Android phones, please check whether the watch is disconnected from the mobile phone. Please ensure that the mobile phone's network connection is good, Bluetooth remains open, and the connection with the watch is normal. You can check the connection status in the device interface of the APP;
5. The APP is turned off in the background of the phone. Please make the Mi Fitness APP run in the background;
6. For iOS phones, if you find that you have not received the reminder, please check whether the application notification permission is turned on, allowing the message notifications displayed in your phone’s notifications, so that it can be synchronized to the device.
You can refer to the following steps to solve the issue in iOS phone:
1. Open the [Settings] >> [Notifications] >> [Show Previews] >> change to [Always], and modify the notification style in the mobile phone settings;
2. Open the [Settings] >> [Notifications] >> select the specific application >> turn on all switches >> change the [Show Previews] option to [Always];
3. Open the [Settings] >> [Bluetooth] >> tap the exclamation icon beside the device >> turn on [Share System Notifications] (If there is no shared system notification option, there is no need to set it).
