Why does the Xiaomi 14 appear dark at low brightness levels with DC dimming enabled?

OLED displays utilize pixel self-emission technology, and you will notice slight variations in color and hue, which are characteristic of OLED displays and considered normal. To meet your demands for DC (Direct Current) dimming, we have developed hardware-level DC dimming algorithms. Enabling DC dimming can result in color gradient loss at low brightness levels. If this affects your usage experience, you can try improving the screen appearance.
