There is no caller ID when receiving a WhatsApp call

If you're not seeing caller ID when receiving a WhatsApp call, please refer to the following to address the issue:
1. Ensure that the contact's phone number is correctly saved in your address book. WhatsApp uses your contact list to display caller ID;
2. Ensure WhatsApp has the necessary permissions to access your contacts and verify that permissions for contacts and phone calls are granted;
3. Check your privacy settings in WhatsApp to ensure there are no restrictions preventing caller ID from displaying;
4. Make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed. Updates include bug fixes and improvements;
5. Ensure your phone’s operating system is up to date, as system updates can sometimes resolve APP-related issues;
6. Restarting your phone can often resolve temporary issues. Turn off your phone and turn it back on to see if the caller ID issue is fixed;
7. If the problem persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp. Be sure to back up your chat history before uninstalling.
If none of the above steps work, you need to contact WhatsApp support for further assistance.
