The reasons for colliding despite obstacle avoidance sensors are shown below:
1. Check whether there are fingerprints or dust. If there are, please wipe the lens of the line laser sensor with a soft dry cloth;
2. Some surfaces with darker colors and higher reflectivity (such as metal), transparent objects (glass walls), smaller table and chair legs, and some shorter obstacles, or obstacles appearing in the detection blind zone, will not be occasionally detected;
3. When the ambient light is weak, the recognition ability of six types of objects, including fabrics, power cords, feces, shoes, bases, and weight scales, will decrease;
4. When the device encounters flexible obstacles such as curtains or doors that are ajar, it will slow down and lightly touch and collide, or completely avoid contact. If there is slight contact, it is a normal phenomenon;
5. If the home environment is complex and there are a large number of ground obstacles trapping the robot vacuum, collisions will occur during rescue.
