What information can be displayed on the dashboard of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro Plus?
The dashboard can display speed, speed mode, battery level, temperature warning, fault prompts, front light switch indicator, turn signal indicator, etc.
Please refer to the following diagram for all dashboard indicator information:
1. Speedometer:
Display the current speed of the scooter, as well as to display error codes;
2. Winglight Indicating:
When the scooter is on, press the left or right winglight button, then the corresponding winglight and the indicator on the control panel will blink. Press the same button again to turn the winglight off;
3. Headlight:
Press the power button to turn on/off the front light;
4. Locking Reminder:
When the icon lights up, it indicates that the scooter is locked. You can lock/unlock the scooter via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP;
5. Bluetooth:
When this icon lights up, it indicates that the scooter has been successfully connected to the mobile device;
6. Battery Level:
The battery power is indicated by 5 bars, each representing approximately 20% of a full battery;
7. Modes:
The people icon is for walking mode, the maximum speed of the scooter is 6 km/h, and the taillight is always on in this mode. D is for standard mode, and S for sport mode;
8. Auto Light On/Off:
You can turn on the auto light on/off mode in the APP once the scooter is connected to Bluetooth. When the icon lights up, it indicates that this function is enabled, and the headlight will automatically turn on or off according to the ambient brightness.
(1). The headlight is on when the function is enabled. The headlight will turn off after 30 seconds in bright surroundings, or remain on in dark surroundings;
(2). The headlight is off when the function is enabled. The headlight will turn on immediately in dark surroundings, or remain off in bright surroundings.
Note:
This function is only available in D and S modes. The headlight will be on if the scooter is in walking mode.
9. Error Notification:
When the wrench icon displays red, it indicates that the scooter needs repair. When the wrench icon blinks red, it indicates that the scooter has an error;
10. Temperature Warning:
(1). When the scooter is not being charged, if the ambient temperature is lower than -10°C or higher than 45°C, the temperature error icon on the control panel will blink. Riding in such circumstances will result in reduced performance of the scooter and other risks. You can use the scooter after the temperature returns to the normal operating range;
(2). When the scooter is being charged, if the ambient temperature becomes lower than 0°C or higher than 40°C, the temperature error icon on the control panel will blink and the scooter will become unable to be charged. Continuing to charge the scooter will even pose a risk. When the ambient temperature returns to the range of 0°C to 40°C, the temperature error icon will go out and you can charge the scooter again;
11. Tire Pressure Reminder:
When the tire pressure reminder is enabled in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP, the icon will light up every 30 (±7) days to remind you to check the tire pressure. You can reset the reminder in the APP;
12. Control Panel & Power Button:
Press the button to turn the scooter on, and hold the button for 3 seconds to turn the scooter off. When the scooter is on, press the button to turn on/off the headlight and taillight, and press twice to cycle through the modes.
