TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This document sets out the terms and conditions for the “Student Discounts” (the “Promotion”) as offered on our Website, including details of the duration, eligibility criteria and what is being offered as part of the Promotion. “We”, “us”, “our” and “Xiaomi” means Xiaomi Technology Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 50 685 941 244).

We may update the terms and conditions of the Promotion from time to time, or withdraw or cancel the Promotion at any time without notice. This version of the terms and conditions applies from 30th March 2026.

The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by third-party social media platforms, including but not limited to X, Instagram, and Facebook, which may be used in connection with the Promotion. Participants hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms of use, service, or sale and policies of third parties whose platforms are used in connection with the Promotion.

By participating in this Promotion, each Participant fully and unconditionally agrees and acknowledges that these terms and conditions are binding.

  1. Term

The Promotion runs from 30/03/2026 00:00 (AEDT) or until stock of any Product runs out, whichever occurs first (the “Promotion Period”).

  1. Eligibility

To participate in the Promotion you must have a registered Mi Account, be aged 18 years or over, and successfully complete Xiaomi’s designated student verification process to obtain an exclusive student code during the Promotion.

Each person who meets the eligibility criteria and elects to participate is a “Participant”.

Employees, contractors and persons assisting Xiaomi with the Promotion (including entities and employees of entities providing services to Xiaomi in running the Promotion), as well as their immediate families, are ineligible to participate.

  1. Details of the Promotion

To participate in the Promotion, an eligible person must, during the Verification Period, complete the required steps (the "Qualification") as set out below:

(a) Verify: successfully complete the designated student verification process through [Student Beans];

(b) Claim: obtain an exclusive student code upon successful verification;

(c) Redeem: redeem the code for applicable coupon ("the Coupon") via: https://www.mi.com/au/user;

Upon completing the Qualification, a Participant can use the 5% off Coupon to purhcase one or more of the Products within one month.

There are some limitations to the offers as part of this Promotion:

(a) we may withdraw or substitute items of equal or greater value if stocks of additional products are exhausted or otherwise unavailable;

(b) each verified account is entitled to one (1) exclusive student code only per month；

(c) each student code and each of the Coupon shall be redeemed once only.

(d) the Coupon is valid solely within one month after redemption and will automatically expire.

(e) the Coupon applies to the product purchase price only and do not apply to shipping fees, handling fees, taxes, or any other ancillary charges;;

(f) the benefits cannot be used in combination with any other rewards, benefits, offers;

(g) the benefits are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash;

(h) all products are subject to availability and are offered on a “first come, first served” basis. Adding items to a shopping cart does not constitute a reservation of stock.;

(i) any refund issued for returned products will be calculated based on the actual discounted price paid by the customer;(j) where a coupon has been redeemed, it will not be reissued, reinstated or reused following any return, cancellation or refund;

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who undermines the integrity or fair running of the Promotion for other Participants, including by tampering with or manipulating the student verification process, Mi Account registration, exclusive code issuance, coupon redemption, order placement or coupon use in any way. Xiaomi may also cancel any coupon, refuse any order, or disqualify any Participant where Xiaomi reasonably suspects fraud, misuse, misleading conduct, bulk registrations, non-genuine transactions or any breach of these terms and conditions or applicable law.
