Principle of message notification:
When the Mi Fitness App maintains a Bluetooth connection with your watch, it will push notifications generated in the status bar of your phone to your watch to remind you that new messages have been generated on your phone. When the notification message is not displayed on the phone's status bar, even if the phone's Application receives a new message, the phone will not push the message to your watch.
If you find that you're not receiving reminders, please follow these steps to check:
1. Make sure that the network connection of the mobile phone is good, Bluetooth is turned on, and the connection with the watch is normal;
2. Make sure the notification message can be displayed in the notification bar of the phone;
3. Check whether the message notification option is turned on in the App;
4. Check whether the watch is in Do Not Disturb mode or Sleep mode. During the Do Not Disturb period or work and rest period, the watch will not vibrate to remind you when new messages are received;
5. Whether the wear-only notification switch is turned on on the watch. If this switch is turned on, the watch can only receive message notifications when the watch is worn;
6. If your phone is an Android system, it is recommended to enable background running permission to ensure that the App runs in the background.
