The Wi-Fi calling/VoWi-Fi feature doesn't work on the Redmi 10 5G

If you are unable to use Wi-Fi calling or VoWi-Fi (Voice over Wi-Fi) on your Redmi 10 5G, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure that your phone's operating system is up-to-date. Software updates often include bug fixes, security patches, and improvements that can address software-level issues;
2. Ensure that your smartphone is connected to a Wi-Fi network with a stable and strong internet connection. Wi-Fi calling relies on a reliable Wi-Fi connection for clear calls;
3. Please contact your carrier’s customer support to confirm whether they support VoWi-Fi;
4. Check if Wi-Fi calling or VoWiFi is enabled by going to [Settings] >> [SIM cards & mobile networks] >> choose your SIM card >> turn on [Make calls using Wi-Fi]. Also, you can go to [Phone] >> navigate to dial >> enter *#*#869434#*#* to enable or disable the VoWiFi;
5. If possible, try using another VoWi-Fi-enabled device with your SIM card or use your smartphone with another VoWi-Fi-enabled SIM card. This can help determine if the issue is specific to the smartphone or the carrier;
6. A simple restart can sometimes resolve connectivity issues. Restart your smartphone and check if Wi-Fi calling is now functioning;
7. You can reset network settings by going to [Settings] >> [Connection & sharing] >> [Reset Wi-Fi, mobile networks, and Bluetooth] >> [Reset settings] >> [OK]. Afterward, reconfigure your network settings and check if VoWi-Fi is now functional;
8. If the issue persists, you can consider performing a factory reset. This will erase all data on your phone, so make sure to back up the data, log out your Xiaomi and Google accounts, and perform a factory reset.
We hope the above information is helpful. If the issue still occurs, we hope you could submit user feedback by going to [Settings] >> [Services & feedback], and wait for the future updates.
