To ensure the map in the Xiaomi Home App is not skewed, the following two conditions must be met:
1. Ensure the charging station is placed correctly, paying attention to its distance from the surrounding walls.
2. Before starting cleaning, ensure the robot vacuum starts from the charging station.
If the map in the Xiaomi Home App is still crooked, please refer to the following methods to troubleshoot:
1. Check if the charging station is placed correctly (please refer to the charging station placement standards in the User Manual).
2. Check if the device starts the cleaning task from the charging station (mapping can only be created if it is close to the charging station).
3. Mirror reflections and similar conditions can cause mapping errors. It is recommended to cover the bottom 15 cm of the device.
4. If the map shows overlaps, rotation, or distortion after being used for some time, you can restore it to a historical map in map management. 5. The map will be rebuilt during the next cleaning process.
6. Regularly check for dirt on the sides of the navigation scanning components. You can wipe them with a clean mop cloth or tissue.
7. Restart or reset the robot vacuum.
