The principal path of map loading can be understood as follows: Access plugin >> Send request to server via mobile network >> Server sends command to router >> Router accesses the area where the robot vacuum cleaner is located and returns map information.
The specific fault symptoms can be divided into the following three types:
1. The screen displays the message "Map loading, please wait".
2. The message "Map loading, please wait" may persist for several seconds or longer before the map finally appears.
3. The Xiaomi Home App is consistently unable to load maps.
If the map of the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum cannot be loaded when using the Xiaomi Home App, please refer to the following methods to troubleshoot:
1. If you see the message "Map loading, please wait," this is normal. This may occur due to rapid operation or frequent exits and re-entries.
2. If the "Map loading, please wait" message lasts for ten seconds or longer before the map appears, it may be due to slow upload and download data speeds on your phone/router. We recommend checking the network status of your phone and router.
3. If the map fails to load, we recommend resetting the Wi-Fi and connecting the robot vacuum cleaner using your mobile hotspot before trying again. If the problem is resolved, please check the network status, submit log feedback, and analyze the network issue. If the problem persists, please submit log feedback and analyze whether the firmware version is abnormal.
