What to do if the SD card in the Xiaomi Outdoor Camera CW500 Dual is abnormal?
If the SD card is abnormal, please refer to the following methods:
1. Please use a dedicated storage card produced by reputable manufacturers;
2. Ensure the camera has an appropriate storage card installed. Cameras without a storage card cannot record videos or historical playbacks;
3. If the storage card isn't recording or can’t delete files automatically in cycles, you can format the card in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP >> [Settings] >> [Manage storage];
4. If you can't format the card in the APP, use a card reader to format it on a computer. After formatting, power off the camera and reinsert the card;
5. If you find that the recording is incomplete, please check the recording mode in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP >> select the camera >> tap the three-dot icon at the upper right corner >> [Manage storage] >> [SD card status] >> [Recording mode].
Note:
Formatting will delete all files on the storage card.
