What are the precautions when using the Xiaomi Nose Hair Trimmer?
Please refer to the following safety precautions to reduce the risks of injuries or damages to the product:
1. In the case of broken skin, infection or swelling in the nasal cavity, do not use the trimmer to prevent any secondary injury;
2. Children should not play with this product. Keep the trimmer out of reach of children. Cleaning and maintenance should not be made by children without supervision;
3. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above. Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge can use this product only if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved;
4. It must only be supplied at a rated output of 5V⎓1A;
5. Keep the product dry. For the IPX5-certified trimmer, it’s trimming head assembly is washable, however, its main body is not. You can remove the trimming head assembly for cleaning, or further disassemble it for deep cleaning;
6. The power adapter needs to be purchased separately;
7. Before storing the trimmer, be sure to unplug its charging cable and not wind it around the trimmer. Make sure that the trimmer is turned off to prevent battery damage due to over-discharge;
8. The trimmer is only intended for trimming nose hair. Do not use it for any other purposes. The trimmer is intended for use by a single individual only;
9. It takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge the trimmer. Once fully charged, unplug the charging cable from the trimmer in time;
10. Do not directly pull the charging cable when plugging in and unplugging the charging adapter;
11. To avoid injury, do not forcefully push the outer trimming head on the top of the trimming head assembly into your nasal cavity, and control your force;
12. Do not use brine, thinner, gasoline, alcohol or other chemicals to clean the trimmer;
13. Never wash the charging cable. Keep the charging port dry when charging;
14. It is recommended to charge the trimmer at 5°C to 35°C, away from any heat sources and direct sunlight;
15. The trimmer contains a non-replaceable lithium-ion battery. Do not disassemble, puncture, or crush the trimmer, expose it to fire, or leave it in a high-temperature environment. Stop using it immediately if there is any swelling. When the battery is at the end of its life, the product should be properly disposed of;
16. Do not expose the product or battery to excessive temperatures. Be aware of the risk of terminals of the battery-operated appliance or battery being short-circuited by metal objects;
17. If the battery leaks, keep the fluid from touching your skin or clothes, and wipe it away immediately with a dry cloth. Then send the battery to an appropriate recycling facility or the designated after-sales service center to properly dispose of it;
18. Do not place or insert any foreign objects into the trimmer;
19. Do not modify or repair the trimmer yourself;
20. Please dispose of the packaging properly to avoid a suffocation risk to infants and children;
21. Stop using the trimmer immediately if any malfunction or error occurs;
22. During traveling, be sure to close the protective cover of the trimmer to protect the trimming head assembly;
