Why does the screen flash brightly when unlocking the Xiaomi MIX Flip?
Thank you for your support of Xiaomi products. If you notice that the screen flashes brightly when unlocking your Xiaomi MIX Flip, it is related to the interaction between the device's brightness settings and the Always On Display (AOD) feature.
When the system is set to low brightness, the AOD (Always On Display) brightness is higher than the system brightness, and the brightness does not switch promptly when the screen is on. So the screen will flash brightly when unlocking the Xiaomi MIX Flip.
We are actively working on optimizing this issue to ensure a smoother transition between AOD and system brightness. Future software updates will address this brightness switching delay to minimize or eliminate the noticeable flash when unlocking the device.
