What is a Bluetooth gateway?
All devices in smart homes need to be connected to the Internet. Wi-Fi is a common connection method, however, not all devices are suitable for Wi-Fi connection. Some other connection methods are needed to solve the problems or needs of Wi-Fi interference, low power consumption and group control of devices. A Bluetooth gateway is used to connect and manage multiple Bluetooth devices, enabling remote data transmission and control by bridging Bluetooth networks and other networks(such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
