If your phone can find the earbuds but cannot connect, it is due to abnormal Bluetooth data on the phone. Try deleting the previous connection records from the phone, then reset the earbuds by holding the function button for 10 seconds. After that, try pairing and connecting again.
To delete the Bluetooth record on the phone, please refer to the following steps:
1. If you use the Android phone, please go to [Settings] >> [Bluetooth] >> tap the [>] icon on the right side of [Xiaomi Buds 5] >> [Unpair];
2. If you use the iPhone, please go to [Settings] >> [Bluetooth] >> select [Xiaomi Buds 5] >> tap the icon on the right >> [Forget This Device].
