Does the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 support close detection and pairing?
Support. Only the MIUI system will find the device and pop up a prompt. When an unpaired band approaches the phone, the phone will pop up a prompt indicating the device model, Bluetooth address, and device image.
Some conditions need to be met as follows;
1. You need to open the network, Bluetooth, and Pair compatible devices on your smartphone to start searching for the band;
2. To turn on the Pair compatible devices feature, please open the [Settings] APP >> [Bluetooth] >> [Additional settings] >> turn on [Pair compatible devices];
3. Please ensure that your band is in the unpairing status;
4. Please ensure that the distance between the band and the phone is within 1 meter.
