The calorie calculation for the Xiaomi Smart Band 9/NFC is based on your heart rate or wrist activity, and we will update the calorie calculation algorithm for each iteration of the product to take into account more influencing factors.
There are some differences between the previous calorie calculation method and the latest calorie calculation method, as follows:
In the wearable devices, the calories generated in a day are mainly composed of two parts:
1. Passively recorded calories, also called daily calories, refer to the calories that can be generated when no manual exercise is initiated. Usually, when not wearing or sleeping, calories will not increase; in other normal states, as long as there is a certain amount of activity, calories can be generated.
For example, in daily office work, although no steps are generated, calories can be generated due to a certain amount of activity. Calories are related to the size and duration of activity.
Note:
Actively recorded calories, also called exercise calories, refer to the calories generated when manually initiating exercise. It is mainly related to heart rate and personal information. The higher the heart rate and the longer the exercise time, the more calories are generated.
If you think there is an abnormality in the calorie data, you can submit feedback.
