Xiaomi 14 comes with a proximity sensor, which detects the presence of nearby objects without physical contact by emitting an electromagnetic field or infrared radiation. This sensor is often used to detect when your ear is close to the phone during a call to turn off the display and prevent accidental touches, or to activate features like auto-brightness adjustment.
If the proximity sensor is accidentally triggered by a third-party app, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
1. Please check if there are any third-party apps with voice call functions running in the background. You can try clearing these apps or power off the phone, then restart it;
2. This issue is not associated with the hardware quality of the device. We will work on pushing third-party optimizations in the future. Please feel free to use it.
