6. Q: Does the backend of the router support external network access?
A: The backend of the router does not support access from outside the router, even if you set up DDNS to access the router via a domain name.

7. Q: What are the main Wi-Fi 6 technologies available in Xiaomi Router AX3000T? What are their features?
A: This device supports Wi-Fi6 and mainly has the following technologies:
OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access).
Wi-Fi 6 has a special feature called OFDMA technology, which allows it to transmit to multiple devices on the same frequency band in a single transmission, making it more efficient than traditional Wi-Fi 5 routers.
Note: This feature requires support from both the endpoint and the router. In this case, "efficiency" refers to reducing network transmission latency, and OFDMA technology itself does not increase network speed.
MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple-Input Multiple-Output)
Allowing the router to communicate simultaneously with multiple terminals greatly improves the efficiency of wireless resource utilization and enhances the experience.
Note: This feature requires both router and terminal support to take effect.
Beamforming
BSS Coloring: Automatically adjusts the signal transmission angle enhances signal quality, increases reception distance and improves network data transmission rate.
This technology primarily reduces previous same-channel interference between routers, improving channel utilization efficiency. When multiple Wi-Fi 6 routers are used in the same network environment, it helps decrease same-channel interference.
WPA3 encryption protocol
WPA3 improves upon the original technology WPA2-Personal, by analyzing network security vulnerabilities and introducing additional data validation protocols. This significantly increases the difficulty of network breaches, ensuring comprehensive protection for your information security and privacy. Configuration on the backend is required, and both parties (endpoint and router) must support this functionality.
Note 1: When setting up Wi-Fi separately for 2.4GHz or 5GHz, this encryption method is supported.
Note 2: If the setting is set to super strong encryption (WPA3 personal version) or strong mixed encryption (WPA3/WPA2 personal version) but the terminal does not support it, Wi-Fi may not be found, cannot be connected, or other compatibility problems may occur. If this situation happens, it is recommended that the router be set to Hybrid encryption (WPA/WPA2 Personal).
LDPC (Low Density Parity Authentication)
When a device is located far from the router, it may experience a situation where the signal is normal but there is no internet speed. Incorporate LDPC (Low-Density Parity-Check) encoders and decoders into the information transfer process to ensure normal file transfer speeds over long distances and prevent distortion.

FAQs
1. Q: How to install and configure Xiaomi Router AX3000T for the first time?
A: Please refer to the following steps:
Step 1: Connecting the Network Cable

6. Q: What is Wi-Fi 6?
A: Wi-Fi 6 is the abbreviation of the sixth generation wireless technology, the wireless LAN standard "IEEE 802.11ax", which is the successor of the 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) standard. Wi-Fi 6 uses new technologies such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO, higher-order modulation (1024-QAM), BSS Coloring, etc. Compared to the commonly used Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6 features a higher connection rate, more band capacity, lower latency, and lower power consumption.
Note 1:
As the Wi-Fi standard evolves, the Wi-Fi Alliance (known as the International Wi-Fi Alliance, or WFA for short) decided to rename the Wi-Fi standard using numbers in 2018 to make it easier for you and Xiaomi to understand which Wi-Fi models that devices connect to or support.
Note 2:
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers defined the name of the new standard as "IEEE 802.11ax". The Wi-Fi Alliance for commercial certification called it Wi-Fi 6 for promotional purposes.
Note 3:
On October 4, 2018, the Wi-Fi Alliance officially announced that the next-generation Wi-Fi technology, 802.11ax, will be renamed Wi-Fi 6, while the previous two generations, 802.11n and 802.11ac, will be renamed Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi 5, respectively.
Note 4:
A comparison table of the old and new names is shown below.

7. Q: What devices can connect to Xiaomi Router AX3000T via Wi-Fi 6 protocol?
A: Almost all mainstream smartphones can support Wi-Fi 6.
For example Xiaomi 11, Xiaomi 10 series (Xiaomi 10, Xiaomi 10Pro), iPhone 11 full series (iPhone11, iPhone11 Pro, iPhone11 Pro Max), Samsung Galaxy S10 series (S10e, S10, S10+), Samsung Galaxy Note10 series (Note10, Note10+ 5G), intel AX200 network card, and above.
