If the Xiaomi Smart Laser Measure can't display the measurement data, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure that the device has sufficient battery power. If the device has insufficient power, the measurement will not be possible;
2. Check the display of the laser measure for any error messages. If the device displays Err01 which means that it couldn’t emit the laser light due to the low battery level, please charge it. If the device displays Err02 which means that it is out of the operating temperature range, please cool it down and use it within the specific temperature range;
3. The laser emitter and sensor can be affected by dirt, dust, or smudges. Clean the lens with a soft, dry cloth or a lens-cleaning solution;
4. Make sure that the laser reflective signal is not too weak (such as when measuring black surfaces) or too strong (such as when measuring highly reflective surfaces). You can measure a target with standard reflective surfaces or use the laser measure with a reflective board;
5. Ensure that you are using the laser measure within the measurement range. Check for any obstructions or interference that might be blocking the laser;
6. Make sure that you are not moving the laser measure too quickly when measuring. Please slowly move the laser measure or keep it stable;
7. Please check the surrounding environment. The laser measure is generally used indoors. Using the laser measure outdoors or in harsh environments may cause measurement failure;
8. Turn off the device, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple power cycle can resolve minor technical issues;
9. Check the device for any physical damage, such as cracks or broken components;
10. If the issue persists, please try resetting the device to its factory settings. When the laser measure is on/off, press and hold the power/measure button for 7 seconds. The display will blink twice and the laser measure will be restored to the factory settings.
