- Q:I want an aerial photography of city architecture. Will MiDroneMini be allowed to fly in downtown?
A:Please don’t fly in crowds and dense building area, where very complex radio waves, narrow space and easily blocked vision will bring insecure factors for flight. Besides, according to local government’s safety regulations, flight of MiDroneMini is forbidden in some areas, e.g. airport, military facilities and designated areas of some cities. Please follow relevant provisions of local public security authority. During some specific group activities, the public security authority will temporarily set up no-fly zone and period. Users need to get such information in a timely manner.
- Q:What’s the drop limit of altitude of MiDroneMini without damage?
A: MiDroneMini has been tested for drop reliability according to the national standard of category 3C products before leaving the factory. There will not be any damage due to falling within the national standard.
- Q:What are precautions upon receipt of MiDroneMini?
A:Novice users are recommended to carefully read the Manual and pay attention to following points: fully charge the batter; install batter and rotor in place; upgrade latest firmware (APP, aircraft, etc.); check motor rotation and installation direction of rotor before flight; because the product doesn’t have GPS positioning function, please keep the aircraft within the controllable visual range to prevent missing; the aircraft tail points towards the operator; the product adopts optical flow hovering, without GPS hovering function, please timely operate the sticker during flight; the coreless motor-based rotor installation adopts the direct plug method. After rotor plug in/out many times, the installation may not be tight due to interface expansion. Therefore, you are recommended to replace the rotor after plug in/out many times (due to randomness, user’s discretion is required);

A:The body of MiDroneMini adopts the semi-closed design, which cannot resist rain and water. Please don’t fly it in rain, fog or near waterfall and water flow, preventing damage on the internal circuit arising out of ingress of water, causing machine malfunction.
- Q:What’s the function of MiDroneMini’s protection frame?
A:The aircraft’s protection frame can prevent damage on the propeller and surrounding object during flight. Beginners are recommended to use the protection frame to alleviate propeller damage before they are proficient in flying skills.
Note: Protection capabilities of the protection frame are very limited. Please don’t hit the objective or fly it in narrow space and crowds on purpose.
- Q:What are work conditions of MiDroneMini’s auxiliary locator? Any use requirements?
A:MiDroneMini’s auxiliary locator works based on the principle of image recognition. The surface of water, grass and pure-colored ground without texture will disable the auxiliary locator’s camera to capture the ground texture underneath the body, reducing or invalidating the positioning ability. Weak light will also lead to positioning inaccuracy. Please fly it in places with adequate light and obvious texture, e.g. patterned floor tile, etc.

- Q:What’s the type of battery and duration of flight of MiDroneMini?
A: MiDroneMini uses a lithium polymer battery and has a battery capacity of 920mAh. The single flight time for a fully-charged battery is approximately 10 minutes. When the air temperature is lower than 10°C, the discharge performance of the battery becomes weak, and the flight time is significantly reduced. Please do not continue to fly when the battery is low, which will cause damage to the battery.
- Q:What’s the flight altitude and range of MiDroneMini?
A: MiDroneMini is positioned as the toy-grade aircraft. Please keep it within the controllable visual range. The flight altitude is 25m and the remote distance by cell phone APP is 50m.
- Q:What’s the flying speed of MiDroneMini?
A: MiDroneMini’s maximum horizontal flight speed is 7 m/s, maximum ascent speed 2 m/s and maximum descent speed 1 m/s.

A: MiDroneMini can take off indoor or in the environment with more obstacles; due to complex environment and without GPS function, users shall be proficient in flying operating; please operate carefully! After drop, the after-sale service needs to be paid.
- Q:How many MiDroneMini(s) can fly together within the same flying field without reciprocal interface?
A:When other wifi is not available, the same flying field can accommodate the simultaneous flying of 5 MiDroneMini(s).
- Q:When the battery runs out during flying, what tips or response will MiDroneMini produce?
A:When the battery of MiDroneMini is low, the status indicator will flash quickly. When the cell phone App is connected, APP will pop out low battery window: two status indicators (blue and orange) underneath MiDroneMini flash quickly: MiDroneMini has low battery, please land as soon as possible. In the meantime, APP shows in orange font for level I low battery: the battery is low, please be careful; APP shows in red font for level II low battery (extremely low battery): battery is extremely low, please charge it.
- Q:What does the head free flying of MiDroneMini mean? How to use it?
A:The head free mode flying of MiDroneMini’s intelligent flying means when your aircraft’s head is forward, click and enter the head free mode; when you operate the stick and changes the aircraft direction, MiDroneMini still keeps the previous direction for forward, backward, left and right flying even operating pitching and roll stick. Operation method: MiDroneMini connects to APP and put MiDroneMini’s head (head with the camera) forward. Click auto takeoff icon, the aircraft takes off. And then, click head free icon, click Confirmation. The head free mode icon turns red from white, it means that the head free mode is enabled.
- Q:What does the gravity sensing control of MiDroneMini mean? How to use it?
A:Gravity sensing control function belongs to a kind of MiDroneMini’s intelligent flying. When MiDroneMini’s gravity sensing control function is enabled, MiDroneMini’s left/right flying and forward/backward flying are controlled by the cell phone’s gravity sensing. When MiDroneMini connects to APP, click auto takeoff icon, the aircraft takes off. And then, click gravity sensing icon, the icon turns red from white, it means that the gravity sensing mode is enabled. When the MiDroneMini is flying, the right control key will be replaced by the gravity sensing icon. Use the right finger to press the gravity sensing icon of the control key, MiDroneMini’s left/right flying and forward/backward flying are controlled by the cell phone’s gravity sensing.

A: MiDroneMini has the Bluetooth connection function, mainly compatible with Bluetooth game handle. Users can experience the flying control joy.

- Q:How does Bluetooth game handle pair with MiDroneMini’s Bluetooth?
A:
1st step: MiDroneMini starts up, the bottom orange indicator flashes slowly; continuously quick press power button three times. Orange indicator and blue indicator flash quickly in sequence, proceed to Bluetooth pairing mode;
2nd step: Press and hold Bluetooth handle pairing key and initiate Bluetooth pairing. Bluetooth handle indicator flashes quickly (different handles slightly differ);
3rd step: After successful connection, Bluetooth handle indicator is constantly lit. Dual indicators of MiDroneMini flash slowly.
Note: When the paired MiDroneMini reconnects with Bluetooth handle, you only need to simultaneously start MiDroneMini and Bluetooth handle. You may view whether the connection is successful through the status indicator of MiDroneMini.
