How to set up the Home monitoring for the Xiaomi Smart Camera C200?
Please go to the [Mi Home] app >> tap your surveillance device card >> [Surveillance] >> tap the [Settings] icon at the upper right corner >> turn on/off [Home surveillance] >> you can set the home surveillance time period, sensitivity, alarm time interval, alarm message push on/off, push events.
Note:
Each video of the home surveillance can be recorded for about 10 seconds.
Here is a detailed introduction to these functions as below:
1. Home surveillance time period: You can set up full-day care or set up time-based care;
2. Sensitivity setting: It is divided into high sensitivity and low sensitivity options;
3. Alarm time interval: The alarm time interval can be divided into 3-30 minutes; (you can choose the system preset time interval, but the interval time cannot be customized). If you think the alarm is too frequent and you are being disturbed, you can increase the interval between alarms. However, within the set camera cooling time, even if someone or something moves in the monitoring screen, the alarm will not be recorded and the video will not be recorded;
4. Push events: Push events are divided into three types to choose from, push for screen changes/ push for someone moving in the care area/ push for hearing baby crying (The baby crying function needs to activate paid cloud storage before it can be used normally, otherwise it will not be displayed).
In addition, after turning on alarm message push, when the camera detects a change in the picture, it will push a message to the mobile phone.
If turned off, messages will not be pushed to the phone. If you only turn on the notification for a certain change, the remaining changes will continue to be recorded, but push messages will not be sent.
Note:
1. Videos in home surveillance can be deleted in batches, here is a path for your reference: Please go to the [Mi Home] app >> tap your surveillance device card >> [Surveillance] >> tap the date at the upper left corner >> all videos >> check the videos you want to delete and then delete them;
2. You can use home surveillance without purchasing an SD card/cloud storage;
3. The Xiaomi Smart Camera C200 does not support the WeChat alarm function.
