If the Xiaomi Watch 5 does not automatically turn on the Always-on display watch face, please refer to the following aspects:
1. After enabling the smart Always-on display function on the Xiaomi Watch 5 ([Settings] >> [Display] >> [Always-on screen]), the screen will automatically turn off during sleep or when the watch is removed.
2. Once you wake up, the Always-on display will function normally after the first screen activation (via raise to wake or button press) and the subsequent screen-off.
3. If you enable [Scheduled], the Always-on display will turn off automatically when time exceeds or when the watch is not worn.
4. Check whether the Power saver mode is enabled, as the function is not supported in this mode.
