If the heart rate is inaccurate on the Xiaomi Watch 5, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
1. To ensure accurate measurements, please wear the watch snugly. If you wear it too loosely, it can cause inaccurate data during movement. Please make sure the watch does not slide down during arm movement and position it about one finger-width above the wrist bone.
2. In cold conditions, low temperatures cause capillaries in the extremities to constrict, reducing blood flow in the wrist area. This makes it more difficult for the optical heart rate sensor to obtain accurate signals and increases the likelihood of signal loss during exercise. It is recommended to warm up sufficiently before exercise to increase blood flow and improve measurement accuracy.
3. Please ensure the back of the watch is clean and dry, the watch temperature is not excessively high or low, and the wrist is free of sweat or foreign substances. Maintain a comfortable and secure fit.
4. The system is continuously being optimized. Please keep the device updated to the latest version and wait for future improvements.
Note:
Heart rate data comes from Xiaomi's internal testing laboratories. Heart rate accuracy refers to the percentage of measurements with an absolute error (AE) of less than 10 bpm compared to the gold standard. Actual accuracy can vary depending on individual differences, usage habits, and environmental factors.
