If the REDMI Buds 8 Pro doesn't pop-up a Google Fast Pair window, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure that the contact points between the earbuds and the charging case are functioning correctly and that both have sufficient battery power. Place both earbuds into the charging case, open the lid, and then press and hold the button on the charging case for 2 seconds. The white indicator on the charging case will begin to flash rapidly, indicating that it has entered pairing mode; only at this point can the pairing pop-up window be triggered. Simply opening the lid without entering pairing mode will not trigger the Google Fast Pair pop-up window.
2. Ensure that your device is connected to a stable network (an unstable connection may prevent the pairing pop-up from appearing on your phone).
3. If the pop-up appears on your phone but fails to establish a connection with the earbuds, tap an empty area of the screen to dismiss the pop-up twice. You must then wait at least 5 minutes before the pop-up will reappear; alternatively, you may restart your phone.
4. If you repeatedly test the Google Fast Pair pop-up window multiple times on the same device, there is a possibility that the pop-up will cease to appear. In this scenario, you must either restart your phone or leave the device idle for at least 24 hours before the pop-up will reappear.
Note:
This issue is related to system or platform level policies (such as those from Google) and is part of a general mechanism, rather than being caused by the earphones.
