Mijia Washing Machine Error Code FAQ

Q1: What to do if E1 is displayed on the Mijia Washing Machine?

A: If E1 is displayed on the Mijia Washing Machine, which indicates the drainage timeout, please refer to the following methods for troubleshooting:
1. Check whether the drain hose is installed correctly. The drain hose needs to be installed upward, and the highest point of the drain hose should be 60 to 90 cm above the ground. If the drain hose is placed too high, it will cause the drainage to be uneven. If this case happens, please lower the drain hose.
2. Check whether the drain hose is inserted too deeply into the sewer, which can cause the drainage not smooth. Please remove the drain hose from the sewer.
3. Check whether the drain pump filter is blocked, which can cause drainage failure.
To clean the filter, please refer to the following steps:
(1) Open the filter cover at the bottom of the washing machine, pull out the emergency drain hose, and remove the plug to let water drain.
(2) After all the water is drained, reinstall the plug and put the emergency drain hose back to its original position. Turn the drain filter counterclockwise to open it.
(3) Check and make sure the inside of the drain pump is not blocked.
(4) Clean any residues and stains from the drain pump filter cover.
(5) Put the drain pump filter cover back to its original position.
(6) Turn the drain pump filter cover clockwise to secure it and reinstall the drain cover.
Note:
1. In case of abnormal power failure, you can open the washer-dryer’s door by pulling down the emergency release cord with a tool. In safe and non-emergency situations, it is recommended that you wait for the door to automatically unlock.
2. If the case is not solved, please contact the local after-sales service center.

Q2: What to do if E2 is displayed on the Mijia Washing Machine?

A: If E2 is displayed on the Mijia Washing Machine, which indicates that the door is not closed properly, please refer to the following methods for troubleshooting:
1. Check whether the door is closed tightly and close it again.
2. Check whether the clothes are stuck in the door seal, remove the stuck clothes, and reposition them.
3. Please push or flap the door lock firmly to ensure the door is closed.
4. If the case is not solved, please contact the local after-sales service center.

Q3: What to do if E3 is displayed on the Mijia Washing Machine?

A: E3 on the Mijia Washing Machine indicates uneven distribution of clothes inside. During the spinning process, the clothes inside tumble, and if they become unbalanced, the washing machine will enter the process of automatic balance adjustment. During this process, the time will not run, and the washing machine will not rotate at high speed. Once the clothes are balanced, it will resume high-speed operation, and the timer will continue to decrease. If the clothes aren’t balanced after a long time and the movement path of the clothes inside can’t be fixed, try pausing the washing machine, removing the clothes, shaking them out, and then putting them back in the drum to continue drying.
To reduce the frequency of this case, please place the clothes as follows:
1. Place the clothes of different sizes together and do not place a small object alone while running the spinning program.
2. Distribute clothes evenly. If clothes are placed in chaos, they will tangle and cause imbalance.
3. You can run the spinning process when the washing machine is empty to check whether the process can be finished. If it does, the washing machine is not malfunctioning.
4. If the case is not solved, please contact the local after-sales service center.

Q4: What to do if E4 is displayed on the Mijia Washing Machine?

A: If E4 is displayed on the Mijia Washing Machine, which indicates the water inflow timeout, please refer to the following methods for troubleshooting:
1. Check whether the water tap is turned on. If the water tap is turned off, water can’t flow to the washing machine. Please turn the tap to confirm whether it is turned on.
2. Check whether the water supply is interrupted.
3. Check whether the water pressure is between 0.05 to 0.8 MPa. Low water pressure can cause water not to flow into the machine. Alternatively, use the water during off-peak hours to avoid peak water usage time.
4. Check whether the inlet valve filter of the washing machine is blocked and clean it if necessary. Please clean the water inlet valve filter at least 5 to 6 times a year or when the error code E4 appears on the display.
Please refer to the following steps to clean the water inlet valve filter:
(1) Turn off the water tap and unplug the power cord. Loosen and remove the water inlet hose from the back of the washing machine. Cover the port with a cloth to prevent water from spraying out.
(2) Pull out the filter cover from the water inlet valve hole with nipple pliers and clean it thoroughly.
(3) Use a brush to clean the inside and the outside of the threaded connector.
(4) Reinstall the water inlet valve filter cover. Turn on the water tap and make sure there is no water leakage at the connection.
Note:
The temperature requirement for using the washing machine is above 0 ℃.
5. Please check whether the fixing part of the drain hose has been removed. The washing machine uses a top-drainage system, and the drain hose needs to be hung 60 to 90 cm high. There is a label on the back of the washing machine indicating that it should not be removed. If the drain hose is removed and the machine is laid flat, water will drain while the machine is filling, preventing water from accumulating. Please hang the drain hose back up.
6. If the case is not solved, please contact the local after-sales service center.
