If the Xiaomi phone lags during use, please refer to the following steps for troubleshooting:
1. After a system update or device migration, the system will perform code decoding and resource compilation. Short-term slight lag or heating can occur. It is recommended to charge the phone overnight with the screen off to speed up the process.
2. At low battery levels, CPU frequency can decrease, which is normal. It is recommended to use the phone with a full charge. After fast charging, the device temperature will rise; wait until it stabilizes before use.
3. High or low temperatures can limit processor performance. Use the phone in suitable conditions, clear background apps ([Security] >> [Boost speed] ), use the default theme, and disable dynamic wallpapers.
4. Some apps can cause lag due to heavy background processes, multi-threading, or online streaming. Keep apps updated, close unnecessary background apps, and enable hardware decoding if supported.
5. Activities such as camera shooting, high-resolution video recording, gaming, or continuous use of GPS/location services and multi-threaded background apps can increase device temperature and affect performance. It is recommended to wait for the device to cool down before resuming use and consider closing unnecessary background apps or location services to improve performance.
6. Slight lag during HDR, night mode, or high-resolution video recording is normal. Update the camera app, clear its data, and close background apps.
7. When streaming online media, slow loading is most likely caused by network issues. Try switching networks and enabling “hardware decoding” in apps that support it to improve performance. Check with the app developer for specific instructions.
8. During gaming, if lag and heating occur, switch to [Performance mode], lower graphics settings, and use cooling accessories if necessary.
